Deborah Lost her father to covid on 5thApril2020 and just 6 days later on 11thApril created covid19familiesuk as a safe space for the bereaved to connect, communicate and share their memories of their loved ones with others. Since then, she has gone on to work with several different organisations and bereavement charities and is the driving force behind the success of Covid19familiesuk, Deborah was awarded the Queens Platinum award for voluntary service for her work with covid bereaved and covid loss ,one of the highest honours awarded for voluntary service and equivalent to an M.B.E

Robert Edwards

LEAD Admin-Wales

Robert joined Covid19familiesUK after him and his wife suffered 2 tragic family losses to Covid. He is a stalwart of the Wales community and hosts both National day of remembrance and Christmas memorials in Swansea in Wales

Julie Thomas

Wales-Admin

Julie has been a member of Covid19families UK and its Wales group for the past three years. She has a wealth of administration experience having worked in the NHS and Education. Julie sadly lost her loving husband Huw to Covid in December 2020, he was aged just 61. Julie works alongside Robert to host and run Covid19families-Wales

Sioux Vosper

Vice-President

Having been the Chair of Covid19familiesuk for the past 2years,Sioux has now stepped up to be our Vice-President assisting Deborah with the general running and organisation. Sioux has a vast amount of experience of speaking about the effect of covid loss upon the bereaved and is a member of several Covid, Long Covid and NHS groups and has appeared on television several times as the voice of covid loss

Samantha Jones

Lead admin- Shropshire

Samantha joined Covid19familiesuk after the sad loss of her brother who passed away in a care home in April2020. She has been a member of Covid19families-Shropshire for over 3years and has now stepped in to become the Lead Admin for Shropshire

Hayley Jones-

Lead Admin-Machester

Hayley joined Covid19families-Manchester after the devastating loss of her son on 13/07/2021. She has recently taken on the role as Lead Admin for Manchester
